Makeup Policy

Each season, we encounter unexpected closures for events such as severe weather. Anytime our studio must close outside of the known studio calendar, we will notify all affected families as soon as possible. Typically, throughout the year, we have months with extra days that help offset studio closures. For example, one month might have an extra Tuesday, and another might have an extra Wednesday, etc. For this reason, and due to a history of low turnout on scheduled makeups for a whole class, we do not initiate makeup classes. Now, parents interested in their child doing a makeup can reach out as we can possibly have them take an extra class one week in a different class block as a makeup option. i.e., if the dancer takes Primary A, they can come one week to Primary B as well to make up the class. This same rule applies if a student missed a class due to an illness or school and wanted to make up for it. We can do our best to find a comparable class for that student to take. If 4 or more parents request a makeup class for a specific class, we will do our best to schedule one for the group.
