RAVE's Summer Schedule is packed full of camps, classes, and intensives with amazing guest artists for dancers and actors to keep the progress going.  Check out what's coming up and enroll today! **All Classes, Camps, and Intensives need at least 5 students enrolled**

June 21-25

Little Princess Camp

Calling all little movers with big imaginations ages 3-6. Let's dream, dance, and explore with creative movement! Students will get to twirl, leap and love with their little friends as we sing, dance and play pretend with their favorite songs and stories. This camp will offer dance time, story time, play time and art time that's sure to be fun for all.

  • Time: 9:00am-12:00pm

  • What to wear: leotards with attached skirt, ballet tights and ballet shoes

  • What to bring: water, a light mess-free snack, and of course a smile!

  • Fee: $100

Technique Intensive

With these acclaimed special guest teachers, students will get an intensive like no other to push growth in their technique. Classes will be offered in classic ballet and precision jazz. This intensive is open to any dancers and is a required intensive for our competition and performance team students.

  • Times: 12:30-3:30 Ages 10 and up Intermediate/Advanced

                        3:30-5:00 Ages 7-9 Beginner/Intermediate

  • What to wear: black leotard, pink tights, and optional ballet skirt for ballet and hair in a slick bun

       (can layer leggings or shorts over leotard for jazz)

  • What to bring: ballet shoes, jazz shoes, and water

  • Fee: $150 ($100 for ages 7-9)

About Jacie

Jacie Scott is a product of Monroe, La. Her love for dance transpired at the age of six, training with Linda Lavender School of Dance and the Twin City Ballet Company in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. In 2012, Jacie earned her degree in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University where she was a 3-year member of the LSU Tiger Girls, winning the UDA Collegiate Hip-Hop Championship in 2010. Following her graduation from LSU, Jacie auditioned for and was named a world-famous, internationally acclaimed Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. In her time with the DCC, Jacie traveled the world as a member of the Show Group. She visited Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, South Korea, Japan, and Guam as an entertainer and goodwill ambassador on four separate tours with the United Services Organization. She’s also shared the stage with some of the best in the music industry, including Usher, Selena Gomez, Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Luke Bryan, on the nationally televised Thanksgiving NFL Halftime performance at AT&T stadium. In 2017, Jacie was given the opportunity of a lifetime to dance on the Great Stage of Radio City Music Hall as a Radio City Rockette.

About Emily

With over a decade of training in the Classical Russian Vaganova method of Ballet, Emily Randon has studied under many of the world’s most renowned ballet instructors.  Over the years, Emily has gained acceptance into prestigious ballet programs across the nation including the Atlanta Ballet in Georgia and the Joffrey Ballet in New York City.  Emily has also had the privilege of taking her ballet training abroad to study at The Centre de Danse du Marais in Paris, France.  Upon her return to the states, Emily began working as a mentor for The American Ballet Theatre.  In 2012, Emily stepped into the film industry and has since appeared in movies and commercials including her recent role as “ballerina” in a national television ad for Baby Bottle Pop Candy.  For the past eight years, Emily has enjoyed working as an energetic and passionate ballet instructor and currently teaches hundreds of students on a weekly basis.  Emily is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and uses her degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science to incorporate elements of dance science into her lesson plans.  Many of Emily’s students have advanced into prominent dance programs across the United States including School of American Ballet and Julliard.  In her free time, Emily enjoys guest performing and choreographing for several community outreach programs.  Emily has aspirations of obtaining a doctorate in Kinesiology with a concentration in Dance Science. 

Musical Theatre Camp

Do you have a young performer who loves to sing, dance and act? Then sign them up for the Musical Theatre Camp, where they can be they can enjoy triple threat training and have a blast in the summer. With a focus on study famous musicals, students will learn choreography to some of the biggest Broadway shows, while also enjoying acting improv games and exercises. **This Summer Will Feature New Guest Teachers**

  • Times: 2:30-4:30 pm

  • What to wear: usual dance attire

  • What to Bring: jazz shoes and water

  • Fee: $115

  • For ages 7 and up

About Victoria

Born and raised in New Orleans, LA where she trained, choreographed and danced competitively until she was 18. She then attended Chapman University where she received a BFA in Dance Performance, as well as Minors in English Literature and Creative Writing. At Chapman, she fell deeper in love with choreography and truly began to perfect her craft in that avenue of dance. Following graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her professional dance and choreography career. As a member of the Miss Universe team, headed by Stephani Kammer, she has worked alongside artists such as Neyo, Fergie, Tyga, Rachel Platten, Boyz II Men, Flo Rida, and Travis Garland. She was also given the opportunity to choreograph the dancers on stage, which was her national television choreographic debut. Some of Victoria’s Television and Commercial credits include Coca-Cola, World of Dance, Miss USA, and Fashion Week to name a few. She choreographed and appeared in the music video “TFIL” for YouTube sensations Scotty Sire and Elton Castee. You would have also seen her dance in the viral Youtube videos “Cry Me A River” and “Falling in Slow Motion”. Victoria loves the art of choreography and is the first-ever winner of the prestigious choreography contest “Make Your Move LA”. Victoria genuinely loves sharing her knowledge of technique, style, secrets of the industry, and most importantly her passion for dance.

About Julian

Julian Guillory began his dance training at various studios in Baton Rouge. Locally, he has choreographed for Theater Baton Rouge (Guys & Dolls) and had the honor of creating material for "A Night On Broadway", featuring Original Dream Girl and Broadway legend Jennifer Holliday. His passion for teaching has led him nationally and locally to work with many organizations such as OMC and Universal Dance Association (UDA). As a staff member with UDA, he’s toured through Michigan, Tennessee, and Louisiana teaching high school dance teams. He is the resident choreographer for the Dutchtown High School “Griffin Girls'', McKinley High School “Blue Diamondz”, and has coached the McKinley Middle “Mustang Magnets.” For the internationally recognized Debbie Allen (Fame) Julian performed in several productions including Derek’s SongsBrothers of the Knight, and All the Right Moves. Currently, he is an interim dance instructor at the Episcopal School Baton Rouge and a professional contemporary dancer with Of Moving Colors Productions and Nyama Contemporary Dance Company. Through OMC’s guest artist residency program Julian has worked with nationally known choreographers such as Christian Von Howard (NY), Pavel Zustiak (NY), John Allen (UT), and Lindsey Dietz Marchant (NY) in ensemble and solo works and independently with Jennifer Holliday (TX).

Summer Class Series

This year we are bringing back regular afternoon/evening classes for an exclusive summer schedule!

The Summer Class Series will be a 5-week session of weeknight classes for all ages, all students interested in continuing their training throughout the summer. New students interested in giving our studio a try are also welcome to attend these classes. Class rates are prorated for the summer so if you miss a class for vacation, it's no problem
