Samantha Warren

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Northern Virginia, Miss Samantha brings the knowledge that was imparted to her throughout her studies and experiences, most notably as a student of Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA, formerly Metropolitan Fine Arts Center; Alexandria, VA). Miss Samantha has taught jazz, tap, ballet, musical theater, contemporary/lyrical, hip-hop, and fitness to a variety of students (ages 2 to 20+) in Northern Virginia, and most recently, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Known for her high energy, goofy voices and explanations, Miss Samantha loves to see the progress her students make as their passion for performing arts grows. As a recent graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Theater Performance, she is ready for this new chapter of her life, including being on faculty at RAVE!

Miss Samantha is extremely thankful for the training she has received in Virginia and Louisiana, including learning from highly regarded faculty, in-demand choreographers, instructors and guest artists such as Gina Starbuck, Chet Walker, Jon Lehrer, Jose de la Cuesta, Sara Hart, Barbara Duffy and Nicholas Erickson, to name a few. During her training, she was a member of pre-professional companies, various ensembles; learned how to instruct dance classes, trained vocally, travelled to NYC (Broadway Dance Center) and mastered the art of back to back quick changes.

Some of Miss Samantha’s performance credits are inclusive of but not limited to…Santa’s Frosty Follies (including Walt Disney World), The Nutcracker (Russian Soloist), Seussical! The Musical (Thing 1), Intersections Festival (Atlas Theater, D.C.), The Wizard of Oz (company, swing), Grease (“Julie”, company), The 24th & 25th Annual Jazz & Tap Festival , The US Army Chorus Concert, LSU Dance Ensemble, LSU Tap Ensemble (secretary), Legacy Dance Crew, Superbowl XLVI Half-Time Cast, Faces of Hope Gala, and LSU Department of Theatre productions. She has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Jason Janas, Baakari Wilder, Rasta Thomas, Chloe Arnold, and Jason Samuels Smith. At LSU, Miss Samantha was involved in numerous organizations, was a Group X Fitness Instructor (UREC), worked on 6 feature films and recently signed with a talent agent.
