Madolyn Brumfield began her dance training at the Center of Performing Arts (COPA) under the direction of Jeanne Bonaventure. Following the closure of COPA, she trained at the CODA under Stephanie Faucette, Micaela Coner, Kendall Keating-Hardy and Rachel Vierck, and continued training under Miss Rachel, Miss Kendall and faculty when The Coda became RAVE Performing Arts Company. She has been a member of the RAVE competition and performance team every year and leading the team as team captain. Through the team, Madolyn has had the privilege of attending many conventions and competitions where she has won high score awards, judges awards and scholarships. She has also had the privilege of taking special workshops in studio from Angelica Stiskin (Director at Joffrey Ballet School in NYC), Heidi Malnar (Emmy winning choreographer and director of Theatre on Tap), Susan Perlis (Director of Dance at LSU and Associate Director at Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre), and Natalie Kirk (Visceral Dance Chicago, Forward.TheMovement.) Madolyn is also a member of the Central High School Kittens where she has been Team Captain for the past two years and won standout dancer awards through both American All-Star and UDA. She has been an assistant teacher for four years and is excited for her first year as a member of the faculty. Madolyn is also working at RAVE as the Office assistant when she is not taking class.
