Chelsea Morgan


Chelsea Morgan, a New Orleans area native, comes to us with over 20 years of dance experience. The first 9 years of her training were under Dari Pennino Reese and Derek Reese. Derek is most known for teaching dance to a young Britney Spears in Kentwood, LA, and his appearances on Dance Moms. Ultimately, Chelsea received her teaching certificate from Shantel’s Dance Academy, under the direction of Shantel Robeaux in Belle Chasse, LA. Over her years of dance, Chelsea has attended numerous dance workshops with renowned dance teachers and choreographers. Her proudest dance moments include dancing at Walt Disney World and gaining the attention of Laurieann Gibson during a PULSE Dance Convention in New Orleans. In 2013, she graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with minors in dance, physical theatre, theatre, and business administration. While attending LSU, she performed in several LSU Department of Theatre shows and was a member of the LSU Tap Ensemble. Chelsea is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) that serves the Capital Area as the Go Red For Women Director for the American Heart Association| American Stroke Association. Chelsea is excited to be on the faculty of RAVE Performing Arts for another season. She has been a part of our company as a production assistant/program designer since we opened RAVE.
