Alexa Dietrich has been performing in Central, Baton Rouge, and other surrounding areas for eighteen years. She began dancing at the age of four and has since received training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, hip-hop, and pointe. She has earned awards competing in dance, being selected for the faculty show at Dance Makers Inc, her senior year. She performed on the Central High School Kittens dance team for three years. Throughout her time on the team, she served as one of the main hip-hop and jazz choreographers. During her senior year, she earned the position of Captain of the 2014-2015 team. She then led her team to the Louisiana American All-Star State Championship where the Kittens received first place in every category in their division. She also served as the choreographer for several Central High School Musical Theatre productions. Alexa is now attending Louisiana State University where she is studying English- Secondary Education and minoring in Linguistics. Her freshman year, she was hired as the band show choreographer for the Central High School Kittens through which her choreography earned superior marks for both competitions the team competed in. During her sophomore year, Alexa was selected to dance on LSU's hip hop crew Legacy Dancers through which she performed at various events at and around LSU. Alexa would like to express how proud she is of her students’ dedication and hard work.
